Light Racer 2.0 – Day 45 – Working Networked Multiplayer
As part of the Light Racer 3D Development Journal, I made this video showing the last few weeks of work. I've added thousands of lines of code and now have working multiplayer with a host/join room-like interface. It's buggy and incomplete but as you can see in the video, it does work. As part of the Light Racer 3D Development Journal, I made a video showing the game running with easyai with AI debugging turned on. The red lines are when the AI is deciding to come after the human player. This is showing a debugging framework that will help in developing Medium and Hard AI algorithms. I was holding the phone in my right hand, but it will function the same as long as the shotgun is parallel to the ground (so lefties are covered).
