Light Racer 2.0 Development – Days 15-16 – Maps and MapObjects


As part of the Light Racer 3D Development Journal, I made this video showing how map development works. You will see 2 different levels on this game, one using the vertical power line map and another that is just plain and has different starting points for the enemies. Light Racer 2.0 Development – Day 10 – The Trail Drop item


As part of the Light Racer 3D Development Journal (, I made a video showing the newest item which is shaped like a little circular thing with some electricity and makes the trail break off the racer when picked up. This item wasn't as easy to add as I would have liked it to be the way all of the existing code was designed but once everything was modified to work with multiple trails per racer, it all came together nicely.
