@kinasko i just got a netbook with android 2.2. you can buy an app for android specifically. it’s 14.99 and it’s called quickoffice. you can also download a browser (free) like opera mini which i have now and you can go on your gmail. haven’t tried google docs yet though. there is not text editing program in 2.2 unless you buy quickoffice.. i just got it today but it doesn’t appear to have spell check. it suits my needs though because i’m just using it for class.
Hi i’m looking for a light computer for university use. Take notes at lectures and studygroups. Will this edit office documents like Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc? and how about Mac text documents?
can it run google docs?
and is the main text editing program in 2.2 good?
thank you very much if anybody can help with any of the questions!
Very informative video, thank you. I’m kind of happy to see someone else had one of these, I was starting think I was the only one. Anyway, this is a really a cool little guy, I just hope the next version will have the ability to install an alternative OS. Such as Debian or NetBSD, I would eve settle for Ubuntu.
Hello! I have a huge asking for you – please tell me if you can run Google Body on your AC100 – it may work well with Chrome.
It’s a big argument for me to buy it
Thank you very much
Hi
Recently I bought the toshiba AC100 with Android 2.1, but do not know anything about android, can you tell me where I find the all steps to install version 2.2?
@Daaanin I dount that Ubuntu will ever be an official release and due to the niche nature of the AC100, it probably won’t get a well supported (to the point of being a constantly updating build) Ubuntu platform. I hope i’m wrong!
If you want to change it from 360p to 480p try hitting the enlargement button on the video. The fullscreen one or the bracket with arrows. After you hit it, it should default to 480 due to the larger video size (if the video is available in 480p or higher).
@holetoledo thanks for the info! i might get an asus eee pc instead, but i will still consider the ac100
