Has to do with the way you flash the partitions. I only helped write twrp.

@ViViDboarder dude, I just tried it using TWRP! it lets you install this zip in recovery. download the zip again and verify the md5 dude. maybe you have 1.5 hboot and that’s why it doesn’t work for you
Also, many devices have a HBOOT flashable zip. Basically drop it on the sdcard and reboot your phone and it gets it self done.
@wwjoshdew Only the Touchpad has a flashable zip.
@rstuckmaier YES YOU CAN! Just watch my TouchPad video dude! if it’s a flashable zip, it can contain a recovery, kernel, or rom!
Just to let you know: you can’t flash a recovery zip from recovery (as said at 0:20 or in your comments).

@DreSrKc you can flash this with clockwork, fastboot, or flash image gui. its your choice

Will this recovery work with h boot 1.5? I hate having to go to fastboot through my computer to flash a kernel. Will this put a end to that?
@Ihatefemme5 no, it does NOT root. you have to s-off your phone, install recovery, then apply the superuser.zip. the automated version (in the description) will give you recovery if you have S-OFF or if you used the htc dev unlock, then you can apply the superuser zip in your new recovery
Does this app root or is there a one click root method?
Have you tried downloading a rom and flashing it all only through your phone?
