HTC EVO 3D (Sprint) sample 2D 720p video
MobileBurn.com – The HTC EVO 3D is fully capable of recording 2D video in addition to its 3D tricks, which we demoed here. The EVO 3D uses the left one of the two cameras on the back for 2D recording duties. Contrary to what Sprint originally announced when it debuted the EVO 3D at CTIA, it cannot record video in 1080p (1920 x 1080 pixel)resolution, but rather is limited to 720p (1280 x 720 pixel) resolution for both 2D and 3D video recording duties. Video looks fine! I mean seriously if you buy a phone for its video camera you are an idiot. Buy a real video camera for that. I work for sprint and this phone is amazing. Its more powerful than the Iphone and its just dope. Dont buy it for the 3d its cool but this phone is just amazing period. Till 4 or 5 months from now haha.

correct me if im wrong, but the evo 3d shoots in 1080p when in 2d mode and 720p in 3d mode?…..and for everyone ranting that it is the same video quality as evo 4g, NO WAY. i took a video of a concert and it came out decent in a dark inviroment, and it didnt skip fames like the evo 4g often did. The sound quality was amazing, for being a concert it wasnt full of static from all the bass, it recorded clear and crisp.

I’m really disappointed in the quality I thought since it was 3d capable the video would be amazing HTC should go to some other company for their cameras maybe samsung or nokia.
I like the video but the quality is quite disappointing.. because im human and i always want more and the best quality. so i complain & will still get the device.
Evo 3D nice phone but I rather wait for Samsung Galaxy S2 next month in sprint
