LG Nitro HD Review Part 1
Shared data plans – good or bad? pdog.ws AT&T’s 4G LTE network is starting to ramp up across the US, and as such, the carrier is rolling out LTE-capable smartphones like the LG Nitro HD. As the third LTE device to come to AT&T, Nitro HD packs a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 4.5-inch IPS true HD (720p) display (which is beautiful), an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, a front-facing shooter, 1830 mAh battery, and Android 2.3.5 with LG’s custom user interface. It’s available now for 9.99, placing it at the same price point as the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket and more expensive than the HTC Vivid. The display is absolutely gorgeous (and gives the HTC Rezound and Samsung Galaxy Nexus a run for their money), but it feels extremely cheap in the hand. LG’s interface isn’t too impressive, either. Is this the LTE handset to get, or should you be spending more time debating between the Skyrocket and Vivid? We’ll figure it out! Part 1 of 2. Introducing the LG Nitro HD, which runs on the AT&T 4G LTE network! It’s slim and light with a phenomenal 4.5″ True HD display, a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, and more.

this whole review is him bitching about what he doesnt like. just tell us what the phone does. thats why i unsubed. thats also why i like technobuffalo(jon4lakers), because yeah, he gives his opinion, but he actually talks about the phones features. you can tell in Aarons voice everytime he talks about a feature hes like mocking it.
Anything is better than YOU TREAT IT LIKE IT DOESN’T HAVE A DUAL CORE 1.5GHz PROCESSOR.
Btw, it cost me $27 with my upgrade. Definitely worth the price.
I’ve had this phone for about a month and I really like it. I like Aaron’s reviews, but I disagree with a lot of the “disadvantages” he mentions about this phone. The UI is simple and customizable, the display is the best I’ve seen on a phone (more realistic colors than the Super AMOLED and a higher pixel count than the iPhone’s Retina Display), and the processor is fast. We don’t have LTE where I live yet but the phone is very fast on HSPA+. Overall I really like this phone.
Lg really sucks they are just not up to par with the other major phone manufacturer company’s . I hate lg
1 correction…. at about 9:45 he says that you cant resize widgets but on lg’s ui you can actually
I’m getting this tomorrow for 100 bucks from best buy
it does
I actually like this phone. It’ll be my next one for my upgrade.
And LG is talking to GOOGLE to be the next NEXUS PHONE which will sucks
does it have a sim card slot? so is it usable in europe?
thank you
- so.. you don’t want him to act like he loves his job?
But.. I don’t prefer lg.. It has hardware issues and the customer care is also below par in india
Good phone
Lay off the coffee a bit… Slow down…
This thing blows. Actually checked this out, very clunky..bulky and it actually does feel cheap. And I’m so tired of the “not-quite-but almost iOS” look and feel on my Androids. Leave it on iOS! Samsung’s Touchwiz isn’t all that close to iOS, but you can tell that it favors iOS in a way. I think HTC is doing it right, Sense UI owns.
lol why?
SKYROCKET STUPID!
Nitro or the Vivid?
htc inspire ftw
This phone processes 720×1280 about 920 thousand pixels than Amoled 480×800 about 390 thousand pixels at once. it treats over 2.4times more at once than normal usual android phones.
Seems like an awesome phone on the worst network lol
@TheFreeMixer ha its funny u dnt know anything about korea maybe because u dont live over here? yes LG may be crap in the states but u say LG sucks in korea?ha u are way off LG is better in korea thn samsung and even has its own cellphone company called LG U+ which is owned by LG and its one of the biggest cellphone companies in korea and one of the first that rolled out 4G in korea samsung doesnt have its own cellphone company just letting u know LG is good in korea way better than samsung
Please do anyone know the LG phone that can block (call barring) incoming calls ?
I mighg get this if sprint gets it
I used to like lg better than samsung, but I turned out to be wrong.
what disaster? What did I miss here?
watching this video on a real HD phone, with a beautiful display. Of course, the samsung Galaxy Note! 1280/800 HD screen. Doesn’t get any bigger or better.
damn talk tech to me baby haha no but this phone looks awesome
awesome! do you even realize how awesome you are?
Take a look this phone’s real size 720p HD screen capture images.

It’s display has 326ppi density in 1280 x 720p AH-IPS true natural color. and half less power consumption than Amoled while on white back screen as like most watching white back web pages.
And naturally less warmer than Amoled screen,
Here, watch a video how Amoled screen can melt butters so fast against IPS screens with LG’s screen that iPhone and Optimus Big.

Oh hey, looks like I need to move to AT&T now. Good thing I’m off contract.
Samsung all the way.
They have the Samsung Galaxy S2 HD LTE .
Yup, LG is just a poser, who got to the US first, for those impatient people.
It’s true, LG is also a Korean company, domesticaly, Samsung is the best in Korea.
And so LG thinks they can beat Samsung overseas? Hahaha… that’s funny stuff right there.
can you customize ringtones and text message notifications with your own songs and ringtones? or are you limitied to the lg tones?
Not as beautiful as you ;P
