great job on the walk through.. i got a replacement moment from sprint and decided to try this one instead of the joeykrim i had on my other one.. hopefully i like this one better tho.. we’ll see.. but def great job on the vid’s
ok when i press the down volume button, red and green button like ur suppose to…instead of seeing green letters i see fucking blue letters…talking about something recovery…need some help to see those green letters again
how come everytime i use my internet on my laptop by tethering on my phone, my internet on my phone tends to shutdown on me temporarily after using it for 20 minutes? Is there ne thing I can do to fix that?
@reyaldaz NO! EXTRACTING IS BAD, A NO NO when it comes to flashing. you need to keep the update.zip’s in the root directory, OR create a folder called SDX, then create 3 sub folders, Updates Zip Backup. And place all update.zip’s in the zip folder and all zImages in the updates folder.
mediafire (dot) com/?rp3bh8skv073u60 download this, put it on your SD card and repeat the same process you did with the “update_Calculin’s_Moment_2.1_ROM)v1.2.1.zip” just use the “removed apps_zp.zip” instead
@masonMkubiak that just means you have to re-do the part where you go through the SWUpdate tool, and if that doesnt work re-do the whole part one video

Ok I get everything goes fine until I try to install the calhoun thing and my recovery menu doesn’t have as many options as yours and it also does not let me install it
when i get to the part where i have to apply the zip after i press the hme button to confirm it says that it is a (bad) zip
i have tried your way after i have gotten the same error from another rooting tut.
to be more specific it says
E:can’t open /sdcard/sdx/zip/update_Calkulin_’s_Moment_2.1_Rom_v1.5.1.zip
everything worked untill i got to recovery mode alls there is is the reboot option update sd/from .zip and then wipe out something and another wipe out thingy but when i click on update sd/zip it just says aborted error

im having so much trouble rooting my GD phone……. I need some major F***ing help on this

You said to hold the Camera button down, but it’s supposed to be the VOLUME you hold down with the Call and End buttons.
