    @ledgrip it says that because your not in the folder where adb is

    I have build number 2.27.651.5 CL169236, It tells me:

    ‘adb’ is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

    something is not right here

    as soon i hit enter after typing : sh /sdcard/unrevoked it tells me:

    Unable to chmod /data/DxDrm/unrevoked.26378: No such file or directory
    /sdcard/unrevoked: /data/DxDrm/unrevoked.26378: not found
    rm failed for /data/DxDrm/unrevoked.26378, No such file or directory

    @toxic2ful Sorry you have to downgrade for the methods I have up. the andrrot app works with builds ending in .5 or .6 but theres another app called Z4 root I think thats the name and I heard it works but havent played with my epic lately since my Epic . but if you still need help message me.

    hi ive tried this method and it wouldnt work…becouse on the command promp it woulndt find the sources i downloded to my Cdrive… so i tried universal androot and that wouldnt work becouse it told me (no fugu) please help me find another way to root my hero 2.1 to 2.2..thank you

    ducksrule39- what you actually need to do is move the zip file that he told you to put into the “tools” folder. You actually need to move those zip files into “platform-tools”. For some reason the download has another folder and inside the android-sdk-windows folder it has both tools and platform-tools. if moving hte files doesnt work try opening the actual SDK exc. file and update the software. this should fix your problems.

    @ducksrule39 If you followed video step by step try restarting your computer and make sure again.

    if it says adb not found the you must not have the software on the computer to recognize it your cpu has to recognize it call your customer service sprint helped me and i found out that wa the problem reply or get back to me in my inbox on this comment

    So whenever i try and downgrade my build from .2 to .5 i get this error message saying…..[Error]:170 usb connection error
    But my usb is connected correctly

    @Jamesskater21 haha go to your start menu and if your on windows xp on the bottom right side it should have a tab that say (run) click that then type “cmd” into the box and hit enter or go to all progams on your start menu and look through there for it

    so when i type (adb push unrevoked /sdcard) it says failed to copy “unrevoked’ to “/sdcard/unrevoked” Permission denied. So yeah can someone please help i dont know what to do.

    @Likwidkil make sure that your name of your android sdk matches the name your typing
