They are coming up with awesome ideas such as: pill bottles that will remind patients when they need to take their medicine, smart slippers that will notify doctors if a patient has fallen or is not walking properly and video and audio chat to try and get away from those crazy doctor appointment charges.

It’s time again for the ZL Studios podcast. Last week the audio was a bit off, but this week the audio sounds nearly perfect. So last week was full of announcements, and it looks like this week was full of price drops, and smaller announcements. So this episode covers iFixit’s teardown on the new Nexus S smartphone, they found all the hardware that was in the specs list, but the contour display is sort of a marketing term. The Dell Venue Pros are now starting to ship finally to those who ordered early, you’ll be receiving a free gift from Dell to make up for the delay. The Android App Inventor just got the private beta label taken off, it’s now a public beta which can be used by everyone. Sources say Apple will update their MacBook Pros and iMacs as well as their iPad during the first half of 2011. Dell officially announced that we will be getting the Dell Venue…but that forgot to let us in on the price or launch date…. They don’t have a specific carrier their going with so they are going to actually sell the phone from Dell.com unlocked. Though there is talk about them possibly coming out with a T-Mobile version. Dell Venue Ships Early
We saw that there was a Dell Venue shipped on the 15th when they are supposed to not be released until January.The company did say that they hoped for some units to ship out this week though. So that’s where this little guy came from. Its an 8GB Venue Pro and it was ordered December 2nd.
