Phone maker Motorola has said that Europeans with the popular Milestone handsets will have to wait a little longer for the Android 2.2. The US version known as the Droid, had already received an update to Android 2.2, but the European version–identical but for a GSM radio–is still waiting for the update. Motorola has not given a reason for the delay. Those with Backflip and Dext phones will also not be getting updates for the Android 2.1. It is unclear whether these customers will get a straight upgrade to Android 2.2.
