Unlock Root HTC Evo 3D and install Custom Rom
This proccess will erase all your data (Not your photos) so if you want to save your Apps – Contacts ect back them up first! Download the Root 3D file here: dl.dropbox.com ********************************************************************************************** The UPDATE file is included for the event you don’t want to put a custom rom on your phone. In that case just running the UPDATE file instead of a rooted rom will give you root on the phone! *********************************************************************************************** If you want to run a rom and need to get BACK INTO RECOVERY simply put the rom on the SD Card – turn the phone ALL THE WAY OFF (Pull the battery out then put it back in) hold the vol down and power to go into the boot menu then select recovery To get back to the recovery menu and run the rom as is shown at 18:30 in the video! Backup your Launcher Settings 2. Backup your Apps And App settings with Titanium Backup 3. Flash Clockworkmod Recovery using Rom Manager 4. Download the Rom 5. Install Rom Using Rom manager Be patient .. Give your phone around 10 minutes to 15 minutes to load everything for the first time.. then go to android market and login.. then download titanium back up pro and choose restore missing apps with data.. For Using Recovery Mode. Download custom Rom using Rom manager (it will be in folder clockworkmod) Have the Custom ROM on your SD card (know where it is) Using Rom Manager Reboot into Recovery Wipe Cache Wipe Dalvic Cache Wipe Data Factory Reset Install zip from sd card Choose zip from SD card choose the zip file (Custom rom file) then go back using volume rocker and power button to select and Wipe Cache and Dalvic Cache once more time (to avoid any force close) then Reboot phone now.. Be patient .. Give your phone around 10 minutes to 15 minutes to load everything for the first time.. then go to android market and login.. then download titanium back up pro and choose restore missing apps with data.. HOW TO by Eddie11 from E11World.com TITANIUM BACKUP = Backed up ALL user apps, then All system data THESE STEPS ARE IN THIS VIDEO (9:05 – 11:25) Reboot into xRecovery and make a back-up of your current ROM. (You’ll need a working xRecovery or else it will say Device/SD Card busy).
