HTC One X Ballistic Life Style Smooth Case Review @DayDeal_com
We catch up on HTC One X cases, and start off with a newer product line from Ballistic. The Life Style Smooth Case / Skin for the One X is a unique TPU skin cover for the phone that has interchangeable corners, that are also themselves raised. We think these skins are ideal for those looking to have something unique; as they are good products but not necessarily breaking any established molds for skins. A lack of more color options stings a bit as well, but we appreciate what is offered.
Samsung Galaxy S III UAG Composite Case Review @DayDeal_com
We’ve never heard of UAG before, but we’re glad we got to see what they cooked up for the Samsung Galaxy S III. Bringing over their design from the iPhone 4/4S, the Composite Case is one stunningly cool looking and durable accessory. We like the Composite Case specifically for how it integrates two materials in a more natural, flowing fashion than having them as layers permanently fused together like on other hybrids. The quality of TPU and poly-carbonate on the Composite Case is hard to describe in words, since it’s so much more “professional” feeling than on other cases out there. To sweeten the deal, the Composite case comes with a screen protector and is reasonably priced among its competitors. Alongside the PureGear DualTek, the UAG Composite case gets a high recommendation from us to check out for any S III owner.
Samsung Galaxy S III Trident Kraken AMS Case Review @DayDeal_com
It’s big, it’s bad, it’s for the Samsung Galaxy S III. The Trident Kraken AMS is a heavy duty adaptable case that adds a lot of flexibility and protection. It should be noted that the core case’s immense weight will greatly bog the phone down, so it is not for the feint of heart. AMS add-ons can be purchased separately and transfer to other AMS cases for phones, which gives them a bit more life down the road. And for the days you don’t want to deal with the monster, you can always strip the AMS down to its skin – literally – which is the Perseus cover. By default, an extremely heavy duty kickstand and belt clip is included alongside a screen protector. As much as we like the AMS and everything it does, we can’t help but mention that this case is only really recommended for those can really use all the extra add ons. The high asking price and bulk of the case will be guaranteed to put off a lot of folks who appreciate the natural slim and light profile of the S III. If you wanted armor for your phone, you get it with the Kraken.

HTC One S Hybrid TPU Skin Cover @DayDeal_com
These no frills Hybrid TPU skin cases for the HTC One S are good choices for the indecisive. In a nutshell, the Hybrid TPU case is a bumper edge combined with a hard plastic back cover. Together, they provide basic protection for the HTC One S from minor drops and abrasions. The biggest asset of this accessory is the low cost, high variety and ease of use which combine to provide a value oriented product. Consider them affordable protection for a naked phone while waiting for the next big thing to come out.
Sometimes looks is all that matters, and the Incipio Feather Shine Case for the HTC One S is a fine example of such. Essentially a Feather case with an Aluminum veneer on it, the Feather Shine adds virtually no bulk or weight to the One S phone. We were a bit disappointed to find out that the Feather Shine does not include a screen protector. Worse yet is the fact that the launch MSRP price for it is at .99 – which leaves us with a strictly pricey cosmetic accessory for the phone. If you like the look, by all means go for it. For everyone else, perhaps some patience while prices drop is in order. Those looking for protection – look elsewhere. Find it on DayDeal: www.daydeal.com

Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX Incipio NGP Skin Review @DayDeal_com
The Incipio NGP cover for the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX gets the job done for a skin cover. Essentially a TPU skin, the NGP is surprisingly heavy and a bit on the thicker side. The inclusion of a screen protector helps add value to the overall package, and 3 colors isn’t a bad lineup to choose from. Not terribly exciting, but beggars can’t be choosers.
Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX Otterbox Defender Case Review @DayDeal_com
Motorola DROID RAZR Maxx owners should be somewhat happy to know that the Otterbox Defender case out for the phone is not as large as it appears to be. Although the belt clip holster for the case is huge as always, the actual case itself that goes over the phone isn’t much larger than the Otterbox Commuter. This means those who liked the Commuter but wanted a belt clip holster can find a suitable alternative in the Defender. For those new to the case, the Defender is a heavy duty multi-layer case comprised of a built in screen protector, thick silicone skin, poly-carbonate skeleton frame (interior), and a face-in / face-out belt clip holster that doubles as a kickstand. Although we personally like the slimming down of Defender cases as time goes on, we hope Otterbox doesn’t make it too small where it comprises the integrity of the product series. Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX Seidio Surface Case Review @DayDeal_com
Short and to the point – the Seidio Surface case for the Motorola DROID MAXX is our recommendation if you want slim case for your phone. It’s a straight forward 2 piece slide on design that is easy to put on and take off, feels great, is light, and does just what it needs to do in providing basic protection. The Surface also works with an optional belt clip holster. If you need more bulk, check out the bigger brother – the Seidio Active. Find it on DayDeal: www.daydeal.com

HTC EVO 3D Trident Aegis Case @DayDeal_com Review
The Trident Aegis case for the HTC EVO 3D is an extremely well made protective case for the phone – so much in fact that we think it’s hard to recommend anything else past or possibly future. That being said, the Aegis is not slim nor comes with a belt clip holster, so competition for overall utility still remains high. Our biggest praise of this particular Aegis case is that it has a newer silicone skin layer made of a much better grade of material, so we hope to see that for more Trident cases in the future.

HTC EVO 3D Seidio Active Case @DayDeal_com Review
Seidio has the most diverse lineup of accessories so far for the HTC EVO 3D. The Active case is one of 3 different products that each have their own variant to accommodate extended batteries and docking cradles – also made from Seidio. For those simply interested in the Active case, it’s a decent all around light-medium duty protector for the phone, but the different options you can use with it make it more attractive then by itself.
Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX Seidio Active Case Review @DayDeal_com
Although not as elegant and form fitting as the Surface case from Seidio for the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX, the Active case provides a lot of protection. The lip on the case is raised quite a bit, and may be attractive to those looking for a cover that actually can prevent some impacts from reaching the screen in case of a drop. The Active can also be used with an optinal belt clip holster if needed, adding more utility options down the road or from the get go. Our only complaint is that the case is quite heavy for its profile, so be prepared for the extra “baby fat” if you do decide to use it. Find it on DayDeal: www.daydeal.com
