HTC Evo 3D (cdma) Running CyanogenMod 7.1 Overclocked to 1.78GHZ “STABLE” :)
I finally cracked the code last night and overclocked the Evo 3D (cdma) running cyanogenmod 7.1… overclocked to 1.78GHZ completely stable! Got lucky! Haven’t seen anyone else that has done it “successfully” yet and I’ve only been flashing roms/kernels since around 5/1/2012! LOL I’ll be posting another video on the steps I took how to do it… just got lucky! Tried flashing over 6 different kernels to overclock and found the right one last night! Funny thing is… I was attempting to overclock it from the adb shell command a few days ago… Last night I just did it from the phone only! Crazy. As always… I am not responsible for any damage or steps skipped during this process when trying to recover your phone or bring it to working booting condition. T-Mobile G2 Gets Overclocked & More Hinge Tests!
The G2 has been overclocked and I have footage of it in another video, you can check it out here: www.youtube.com After 2 weeks my G2′s Hinge has gotten more loose, but it is not an issue. I would not hold out on this phone because the hinge does not affect you during normal daily usage. I don’t expect HTC to release redesigned G2′s because that would take months to completely change it. However, if they did I would simply demand a new phone.

HTC Desire HD – Overclocked 1.53Ghz benchmark
It was fun .. – im running 1460 now .. stable without draining the battery .. NOTICE: The video is kind off outdated .. 1.53 Ghz can get you about 3200 Quadrant score … This overclock and test was one of the first experiments with overclocking on this phone, now you can flash kernels and roms .. i’m sure you can find some newer videos out there
