Sprint HTC EVO 3D Loss of Sensitivity

Today my HTC EVO 3D which is only a few months old decided loss sensitivity to touch out of no where. Which obviously makes it nearly impossible to use. I had several HTC EVO 4G’s do the same exact thing. I was using it to tether my laptop through PDANET, text and make a phone call and literary 5 minutes after making I went to go send a text and it was doing this. I pulled the battery and restarted it and it was still doing it, so I too off to the Sprint store. I decided I’d make a video really quick and go see what they would do. They immediately seen me, but said it would be to replace the screen and take an hour. I left and came back after the hour and they had no screens, so they gave me a new HTC EVO for ( something after taxes) which isn’t bad, but why should I have to pay for something that should be covered under a 1 year manufacturers warranty. There was no liquid damage, no physical damage (besides minor wear), nothing was wrong with the phone. I called Sprint and tried to get the taken care of, but they refused saying that I’d have to send the phone to HTC to get it taken care of under warranty. Even one person stating that I had used nearly 10GBs of Data this month and that would cost me more then on another carrier…WTH.. I am not too thrilled. so here is my crappy phone not working, just like it’s predecessors the HTC EVO 4G and Hero which crapped out each after a few months..

Sprint 3G/4G vs Straight Talk 3G/3.5G Speed Test

Speed test comparison of Sprint 3G and 4G on the Epic 4G Touch vs The Samsung Galaxy Note running on Straight Talks MVN. I don’t know what is going on with Sprint, but ever since they made this big stink about the Iphone coming to the network the 3G network has gone to hell. As you can see I barely get .16mbps on the down stream. If Sprint would have fully deployed the Wimax network instead of stopping mid deployment and going with LTE I probably would not complain, and service would not be as spotty as it is. Hence I would not have to rely on their shotty 3g service. Unfortunately Sprint cant keep the speeds over .16kbps during the day, but at night they are fine I can get about 900-1.4mbps. In the day however good luck. Your experience may be different, but for now I will stick with straight talk.
