Nova Recovery | CWM 4.x | EXT4 Support (Easy Installation) only for LG Optimus Black P970 with NOVA ROM Link: forum.xda-developers.com This is a custom recovery based on the latest CWM Recovery. It will allow you to flash ROMs, backup/restore, and so on. It also supports backup/restore of new ROMs. Features: – CWM 4.x, better code and algorithms than 3.x. – EXT4 support (works with Nova and Relax ROMs for example). – Purple-themed. – Only one ‘no’ on confirmation list. – Other minor changes (display name, cache error fix, etc). Not working: – USB mount. – ADB. – Progress bar during backup. Instructions: – Download the package, extract, run install_recovery.bat if you’re on windows or install_recovery.sh if you’re in linux. You’ll need to click “allow” for root access if it prompts you (needs a rooted Optimus Black). Important: – There’s no key combination to boot into recovery. Use terminal (“reboot recovery”) or AnReboot application (needs root). – Use power button to select option, volume rocker to navigate and back button to return.
